Ireland will celebrate the only Irish public holiday named after a woman in honour of St Brigid.
Brigid was a Celtic goddess, Christian saint, and a symbol of feminine power and compassion. Together as a nation of women we will celebrate Lá Fhéile Bríde.
The gathering in Belfast will include storytelling and Brat Brid Cloak making with Rita, Cacao & Crois Brid with Lorraine, Hand crafting St Brigid’s Crosses with stew on arrival. This will be another Mnásome Day Ladies! We look forward to seeing you there.
